We recognise that dietary needs can be divers and varied depending on culture, religious and personal
preferences, and we offer a wide range of meals including vegetarian diet as well as soft or pureed meals for
those who either prefer the soft option or because they simply have no choice, we are of course always
mindful of health conditions which could have an impact on a person's diet, diabetes for example.
Our full time Chef, is passionate about his work, the kitchen is always at the very highest levels of cleanliness
and hygiene with very stick instructions for anyone entering the kitchen or other food preparation places.
Meals are served in an attractive and congenial dining area. Fresh, wholesome food is prepared by our Chef,
who takes a pride in providing a varied and well-prepared menu. Fresh, appetising meals form the basis of a
balanced diet, catering for individual tastes, preferences and special diets, for example diabetics. We have
achieved the top rating of 5 for Food Hygiene.
Morning coffee, afternoon tea and night-time drinks are all provided, though drinks and other refreshments
as well as snack are available throughout the day, on request.
Appetising meals using fresh foods will form the basis of a balanced diet and where necessary food will be
prepared appropriate to special needs.

Meet the Chef

Hi my name is Nigel, I am the head Chef here at Triple trees, I am very passionate about the work I do for our residents and wish to provide the highest quality of freshly prepared meals for them. To achieve this I insist on the best quality produce we can get, locally sourced if possible. I work closely with the homes management to ensure I get the right budget I need to provide this service. With my 24 year experience I have found it good to keep my menu close to what our resident’s desire, changing the menu from time to time to ensure that everyone receives what they want. I have also found that it’s not a bad thing to introduce quality cuisine from around the worlds as some of our residents have never experienced this, most of the meals I have tried to date, from Africa and China for example have gone down very well, though it is safe to say that the top choices are the most traditional meals like casseroles, pastries and good old roast dinner. We have a five stare food safety rating in my Kitchen which I am proud of as I am very strict in how my kitchen is kept, with some of the finest Kitchen support staff, they all go through the right training needed before they can work in my kitchen and that training is ongoing by myself on site of through the homes very extensive training program. I am truly humbled to have the opportunity to provide great meals for our residents, and to do the catering for all occasions we have here at tripletrees, things from Christmas parties to BBQ’s in the summer. For me it is important to provide tastey and healthy meals for our residents keeping to the guidelines or nutritional values they need to keep them healthy.

Triple Trees is a home from home establishment with the emphasis being on HOME. With our highly motivated team of careers, housekeeping, Kitchen and management staff we all work as one to provide that home from home atmosphere in the home. Our ethos is based around the  maintenance and promotion of independence, always protecting our residents dignity, privacy and freedom. We encourage our residents to keep their own GP should they wish, though we do have a local GP Practice which we highly  recommend as this does help keep all medical records up to date and in one place, we also like the fact that our visiting GP does make a regular visit (ward round) and this helps the GP get to know our residents on a one to one basis.
We are situated in Burgess Hill which is a typical small countryside town in the heart of West Sussex, 6 miles north of Brighton, Burgess Hill is easily found off the A23 either from London or Brighton area.
